NASA representatives (Jack Kaye, Michelle Gierach, Piers Sellers, and Daniel Irwin) attended the 20th Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 20) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), presenting hyperwall animations and side events at the U.S. Center.

 

PO.DAAC provided several new hyperwall animations that were presented at the U.S. Center during COP 20, including 1) the surface ocean temperature response to the 1997-98 and 2009-10 El Nino events and 2) global tropical cyclone activity as shown by global sea surface temperature and ocean vector winds.
