PO.DAAC Data Engineers Ed Armstrong and Wen-Hao Li supported the PO.DAAC booth at the 2016 JPL Climate Day, Sept 21 in Pasadena, California. Over 1000 local students attended this event!

The PO.DAAC tool State of the Ocean (SOTO) (http://podaac-tools.jpl.nasa.gov/soto-2d/soto.html) was demonstrated to these students to show the local and regional oceanography of temperature, winds, ocean color, relationship to hurricanes and other features.
