NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California invited the public to its annual Open House on October 10-11, 2015. JPL’s Open House 2015 was a historic occasion with approximately 40,000 visitors.

At the event, Jessica Hausman, Vardis Tsontos, Ed Armstrong, and David Moroni showcased PO.DAAC's State of the Ocean (SOTO) visualization capabilities.
